1. Introduction

This Returns & Refunds Policy explains how Tagline™ (Pty) Ltd (“Tagline™”, “we”, “our”, “us”) handles returns, exchanges, and refunds for products purchased through our website or directly from our sales team.

Because many of our products are customised with branding, certain restrictions apply.

2. Branded Items (Customised Products)

Due to the personalised nature of branded items:

  • Branded products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless defective.
  • Once artwork is approved and production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled.
  • Tagline™ is not responsible for errors in artwork supplied by the customer.

This includes items branded through:

  • Embroidery
  • Screen printing
  • Digital transfer printing
  • Laser engraving
  • Pad printing

3. Unbranded Items

Unbranded items may be returned if:

  • Returned within 7 days of delivery
  • Unused, unworn, and in original packaging
  • In resellable condition

A refund or exchange will be processed once the items have been inspected and approved.

Return courier fees are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective.

4. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective or incorrect item:

  • Notify Tagline™ within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photographs of the defect or incorrect product
  • Include your order number and delivery details

Tagline™ will assess the issue and, if approved, arrange:

  • A replacement, or
  • A refund (where applicable)

Defects caused by misuse, improper washing, or normal wear and tear are not eligible for return.

5. Order Cancellations

5.1 Unbranded Items

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.
If already dispatched, the return will follow the unbranded returns process.

5.2 Branded Items

Orders cannot be cancelled once:

  • Artwork is approved, and
  • Production has started

All branding work already completed will be charged in full.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days via the original payment method.

Refunds may be delayed if:

  • Banking details are incomplete
  • Returned items are still under inspection
  • Courier delays occur

7. Exchanges

Exchanges are only available for:

  • Unbranded items in original condition
  • Defective items approved for replacement

Branded items cannot be exchanged unless defective.

8. Non‑Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Branded or customised products
  • Sale or clearance items
  • Items damaged due to misuse or incorrect washing
  • Items returned without original packaging
  • Items returned after the allowed timeframe

9. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate order and artwork details
  • Reviewing and approving artwork proofs
  • Ensuring correct sizing before ordering
  • Returning items using reliable courier services

Tagline™ is not liable for lost return parcels.
